LET”S  CATCH  UP  WITH  ALISON PITMAN

Alison is settling in well to her new home in Sydney where she is being “spoilt rotten” by her daughter and son-in-law. (these are her own words!)

She has a garden “pod” which allows her to plant seeds which grow quickly before being transplanted into the garden.  Her vegetables, which she has never grown before, are being eaten by the whole family!!

Her daughter has organised the transfer of Alison’s Aged Care membership from the Hunter Region to the Willoughby area so she is able to join in lots of activities.

She is finding everyone is really friendly and it has not taken her long to make new friends.  She has joined exercise classes and craft sessions, been to “High Teas” and movies and been on bus trips.  Still enjoying sport, she has learnt to play pickle ball which is a bit like tennis but on a smaller court.  In other words, she is having a great time!!
